Automated Software distribution

  1. Git can be downloaded from the official software packaging resource. The link is https://asd.tools.intranet.db.com. Add to cart the application 1524048-CMW7M6 GIT VERSION 2.17.1.2 64 Bit . The software will be delivered to you by the Software Center interface.

2. Open Software Center by clicking Start and writing the word "Software Center" in the search section

3. Select the Git version 2.12.1.2 software within the Software center window

Select Git from the Software center

4. Install the software. Your installation should complete and look like below

Note: Please do not install any other version of GIT from other locations for security reasons.

5. You can also check that git is installed by going thru your start menu

Git bash shell, windows shell and gui installed

6. You can verify the git version
